Construction Kickstarts for the New Encanto Ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom
The framework of the Encanto ride building at Disney's Animal Kingdom is now adorned with steel poles, marking the beginning of interior construction. This highly anticipated ride is part of the new Pueblo Esperanza, set to transform the area once known as DinoLand U.S.A.
The steel framework, visible within the building's structure, signifies the initial phase of interior development. These poles may serve as the foundation for future walls, as construction crew members were observed working on the interior during our visit on Thursday. The sheer size of the building is truly remarkable.
Despite its current skeletal state, the Encanto ride will boast a Casita façade, transporting riders through a captivating narrative inspired by the film. While staying true to the original story, the ride will also incorporate original elements, adding a unique twist to the experience.
The closure of DinoLand U.S.A., including the iconic DINOSAUR attraction and Restaurantosaurus, is set for early February. This marks the end of an era, making way for the highly anticipated Pueblo Esperanza, which will open its doors in 2027, featuring the Encanto ride and an Indiana Jones adventure.
